Welcome to Camp Hammond! A Lakefront Cabin in the Woods.
Forget your worries in this spacious and serene cabin. Nature abounds on this property with mesmerizing lakefront views from every room; two-story/vaulted living room; gas stone fireplace; bright & cheerful with ample natural light flowing in; large kitchen & breakfast bar; lakefront dining area; huge lakefront deck…perfect for relaxing and/or entertaining.
The space
Everything but your food and drink:
You will have lots of options and flexibility in this space. Guests can walk around the 4 acre property and enjoy trees, nature, and the lake. Or guests can enjoy the many cozy spots to enjoy a fire, work on a puzzle, play games, or feast on a good meal with family and friends. Camp Hammond is situated between Crosby and Brainerd with both summer and winter activities galore. Visit Cuyuna Mountain Bike Trails, snowmobile on 120 miles of Paul Bunyan Trail, or bring/rent an ice fishing house right out your back door on beautiful Clearwater Lake! During the colder months, watch the snow fall from the picture windows in this magical winter wonderland.
There are no cameras or audio recording devices inside the home or garage. We have two exterior cameras. One camera at the front entryway & one camera above the detached garage mounted to see driveway. Please only allow booked guests on the property. Our neighbors quiet enjoyment is a priority.
KITCHEN
There is a fully equipped kitchen with a glass cooktop, electric oven, large refrigerator, microwave, kitchenAid Stand Mixer, electric bullet food processor, Crock-Pot, toaster, drip coffee machine, whole bean coffee grinder, pots/pans/stock-pots, stovetop espresso maker, cooking utensils, dinnerware, flatware, glassware & barware, etc
When done cooking /entertaining relax as the dishwasher cleans and dries all your dishes in one load.
Just outside the kitchen through the dining room and out on the deck is a gas grill.
DINING
We have plenty of dinnerware, flatware & glassware to service 12. In addition to that we have tons of serving platers/plates/bowls to feed everyone at all our dinning locations
The main dinning table accommodates up to 10 (max). Two outdoor patio tables seat up to 9 out on the deck and an additional table is set up in the family room for either dining or as a game table. The kitchen island seats 2 more.
Guest access
Guests will have full use of the house and one garage space. There is a second detached garage on the property which is off limits and not for guest access.
Other things to note
Enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, snowmobiling or roller blading on 120 miles of Paul Bunyan paved trail. Cuyuna Mountain Bike trails offer 60 miles of paved trails for biking, hiking, skiing or snow shoeing.

We are pet friendly. Pets are welcome to join you at our cabin, up to 2 dogs for an additional cleaning fee of $100. Please keep pets kenneled if left alone in the cabin (one kennel available on site). For their safety, pets must be attended and in guest's control at all times (no off leash wandering around the neighborhood). No pets on furniture or beds.
